Digital Smile Design and Prosthesis

One of the most important advantages of digital dentistry is that it can design aesthetic smiles. In the session where the planning is made, it is beneficial for both the patient and the physician to present how the patient will look at the end of the treatment. Digital dentistry makes it easier to understand the patient’s expectations.

    Before & After

Great Result, We Achieved Wonderful Smiles

CAD/CAM (Computer Aidet Design-Computer Aidet Manufacturing), that is, Computer Aided Design-Computer Aided Manufacturing. CEREC, on the other hand, is a 3-dimensional design and production device developed for dentistry, which combines these two technical concepts and works with computer support. With its 3-dimensional nature, it is possible to have information about the shape of both the inner and outer surface of the examined region.

First, the teeth to be treated with digital scanning are scanned in 3D and transferred to the computer. After the images transferred to the computer are made in 3D, the appropriate design is made for the tooth. Virtually etching, addition, contour change can be done at this stage. After the design is finished, the appropriate size and color of the block is selected. This block is milled with a micro-lathe device to obtain the designed tooth form. The final stage is the process of polishing, coloring and galacizing the resulting tooth form. High-tech furnaces are used for this process. With the CAD/CAM system, measurement, design and production can be completed in a single session.
