Filling and Root Canal Treatment
Composite fillings are made from ceramics and other chemical materials. They are used to restore teeth damaged by decay, fractures, or cracks. The filling material is bonded to the tooth with special adhesives and hardened using a curing light.

Composite fillings match the natural tooth color, addressing aesthetic concerns. The treatment is quick and can be done on multiple teeth in a single session. Suitable for all teeth, these fillings provide a natural look. Because they chemically bond to the tooth, they offer better adhesion, support tooth structure, and prevent fractures. The procedure is painless and sometimes doesn't require anesthesia.
With proper oral care, composite fillings can last approximately 7 to 10 years.
- Treating decayed teeth
- Repairing broken or cracked teeth
- Closing gaps between teeth
- Improving tooth color
- Changing tooth shape
First, the decayed area is cleaned. Then, a gel is applied to roughen the tooth surface, helping the composite adhere better. The composite material, matched to the tooth color, is applied and shaped. It is hardened using a special light. After hardening, the filling is polished and adjusted for a comfortable bite. Some temporary sensitivity to hot and cold may occur but usually disappears after getting used to the filling.
