What is Ceramic Coating?
Ceramic veneers are highly aesthetic coatings made from reinforced porcelain, either with a porcelain substructure or entirely from a reinforced porcelain block. They contain no metal or zirconium framework. These coatings are mainly applied on front teeth where aesthetics are critical, on teeth with significant material loss, or on single tooth restorations.

Ceramic coatings can be applied to front teeth where aesthetics matter most, to close gaps between teeth, to correct minor crowding, on teeth that are too dark for effective whitening, and on teeth with significant material loss.
They do not cause allergic reactions, maintain good gum compatibility, and offer excellent light transmission for a natural appearance. They require minimal tooth reduction, have low thermal conductivity, and do not cause sensitivity.
First, necessary X-rays are taken and a treatment plan is prepared. Any existing dental or gum issues are treated before starting. The tooth is then minimally reduced, and measurements are taken once the gums heal. Temporary prostheses are made while waiting for the permanent ones. After fabrication in the lab, the permanent veneers are tried on, and if all is good, they are bonded to the tooth with special adhesive.
