Food should be eaten with the other side for the first 24 hours after the operation. Nothing should be eaten or drunk for the first 2 hours after the operation. Afterwards, soft foods should be consumed. Smoking and alcohol should not be consumed for the first 24 hours. Applying compresses with an ice pack from the outside for the first 24 hours reduces swelling. Stitches should not be removed before the seventh day. Blood thinners should not be used until the wound site is completely healed.
