Placeholder apparatuses are specially made by the technician according to the structure of the child's mouth. Situations such as the missing tooth and the age of the child are evaluated and it is decided which placeholder to apply. Movable placeholders are what they prefer. Measurements are taken from the child's mouth and sent to the technician and the appropriate placeholder is prepared for the teeth. It is applied to the prepared placeholder teeth and checked by the physician every 6 months and the condition of the new teeth to be taken is checked. The placeholder does not cause chewing, speech problems in children.
Movable placeholders are applied in case of multiple tooth loss. Movable placeholders are easier to clean. Movable placeholders complete the lack of teeth. Movable placeholders can be attached and removed at any time. The fixed placeholder can be applied in a single session. Fixed placeholders do not cause metal allergy.
Oral care should be done regularly. Regular check-ups should be made every 6 months. It should be removed immediately in cases such as breakage and stretching. Placeholders should not be moved.
